Milwaukee County has cancelled a furlough day that had been scheduled for county workers next week.The news came Friday morning in a joint announcement from County Executive Scott Walker, County Board Chairman Lee Holloway and Finance and Audit Committee chair Elizabeth Coggs.A news release said they have found additional savings in health care that they believe will allow county staff to work and get paid for Dec. 4.
