Firefighters are battling a blaze at an industrial building in the 7300 block of W. Washington — The unemployment rate fell to 10% in November as employers cut the smallest number of jobs since the recession began.The Labor Department says the economy shed 11,000 jobs last month, an improvement from October's revised total of 111,000. Man dies when pickup slides into oncoming traffic

A 63-year-old man was killed in a Waukesha County wreck Thursday when his pickup truck slid into oncoming traffic.The man was driving west on Wis. Hwy. 59, a wet and snowy road near Dable Road in the Town of Genesee, about 3:50 p.m., according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. The man's truck slid into the eastbound lanes and hit a minivan driven by a 42-year-old man from Waukesha, deputies said.The pickup driver died.
